About the FSIC
The Foundation for Safe Internet Commerce was established by a network of companies who advocate trust and integrity in the online marketplace.
Websites that display the FSIC logo have been found to adhere to the ethics and principles that the FSIC stands for. The founders believe that
in today's technology- driven marketplace, consumers have the right to feel safe while engaging in commerce online.
Becoming a Member
Websites that seek accrteditation from the FSIC must adhere to the highest ethical code of conduct. The FSIC logo is not a security
seal or "web award". It is a symbol of trust, and a statement that your website is safe, secure, and operated with integrity.
Any website owner can
submit a request to become accredited by the FSIC. Once the submission form is received, all websites are rigorously examined to
check that a variety of conditions are being met. Any aspect of a website, large or small, that is interpreted as dishonest, shady, misleading,
seedy, spammy, or unusable is not eligible for FSIC accreditation.
